RECALL: Anytime Deli Turkey & Ham Footlong, Italian Footlong, and Classic Cuban

Anytime Deli Turkey & Ham Footlong, to include Italian Footlong, and Classic Cuban, potential to be contaminated with Listeria Monocytogenes.

The sub sandwiches were distributed on January 2nd through April 13th to convenience and grocery stores nationwide under the labels Anytime Deli, Sandwich Central and Dandee. All sandwiches are packaged in white butcher wrap. The Best Buy date and/or the Lot Number are located on the white press on circular label. The UPC Code is located on the bottom of the product beneath the Ingredient and Nutrition Facts label.

The Product Code and Use-by Date are in the upper right-hand corner of the package; the UPC code is on the back of the package, below the barcode. RECALL: 26,136 pounds of chicken apple sausage products that may contain foreign materials

Eddy Packing Co., Inc., a Yoakum, Texas, establishment is recalling approximately

26,136 pounds of chicken apple sausage products that may contain foreign materials, the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Food Safety and Inspection Service (FSIS) announced today.

The products subject to recall include:

  • 1-lb. vacuum-sealed, 3 to a pack of “ARTISAN FRESH, ALL NATURAL chicken & apple sausage” bearing the USDA mark of inspection and have a sell-by date of June 23, 2012.
  • 36-lb. cases containing 12/3-lb. packages of “ARTISAN FRESH, ALL NATURAL CHICKEN APPLE SAUSAGE” bearing the establishment number “P-4800” inside the USDA mark of inspection and bearing codes 42450 or P13203 on the label.

The problem was discovered as a result of consumer complaints about finding pieces of plastic in the product. .....MORE

Castellini Company LLC is recalling certain jalapeno peppers distributed from its Wilder, Kentucky facility because they have the potential to be contaminated with Salmonella.
