RECALL At Least 8,000 pounds of ground beef products E.Coli O157:H7

AT LEAST TWO Ground Beef Plants establishing recalls for Bulk Ground Beef for Possible E.Coli O157:H7 there likely will be more recalls to come since this is "Bulk" ....the Product will mostly be used in Restaurants, Schools and even Dog and Cat Food Possibly....Please be extra AWARE and ask if the beef is part of any of the recent recalls for ecoli...or if the beef came from either one of the below plants....

Main Street Quality Meats, a Salt Lake City, Utah establishment, is recalling approximately 2,310 pounds of ground beef products that may be contaminated with E. coli O157:H7, the U.S. Department of Agriculture's Food Safety and Inspection Service (FSIS) announced today. 

The following products are subject to recall:
  • 10-lb cases of "GROUND BEEF BULK."
  • 12-lb cases of "GROUND BEEF PATTIES." 
    Main Street Quality Meats, a Salt Lake City, Utah establishment, is recalling approximately 2,310 pounds of ground beef products that may be contaminated with E. coli O157:H7, the U.S. Department of Agriculture's Food Safety and Inspection Service (FSIS) announced today. 
Higa Meat & Pork Market, a Honolulu, HI establishment, is recalling approximately 4,100 pounds of ground beef products that may be contaminated with E. coli O157:H7, the U.S. Department of Agriculture's Food Safety and Inspection Service (FSIS) announced today. 

The following products are subject to recall:
  • 10-lb. bags of "HIGA MARKET-GROUND BEEF BULK" - 1 to 6 bags per carton/case MORE

RECALL: Target's Boots & Barkley Roasted American Pig Ears And Boots & Barkley American Variety Pack Dog Treats Because of Possible Salmonella


Target brand, BOOTS & BARKLEY ROASTED AMERICAN PIG EARS AND BOOTS & BARKLEY AMERICAN VARIETY PACK DOG TREATS product because it may be contaminated with Salmonella

The recalled Roasted Pig Ears and Variety Pack Dog Treats were distributed nationwide through Target retail stores in August 2012.

The Roasted Pig Ears product comes in a clear plastic bag containing 12 pig ears marked with UPC bar code 647263899158. The Variety Pack product also comes in a clear plastic bag weighing 32oz and marked with UPC bar code 490830400086.

Kasel Industries is recalling lot number BESTBY 13SEP2014DEN for both products because this lot code tested positive for the Salmonella bacteria through analysis by the Colorado Department Of Agriculture. 

Salmonella can sicken animals that eat these products and humans are at risk for salmonella poisoning from handling contaminated pet products, especially if they have not thoroughly washed their hands after having contact with the pet products or any surfaces exposed to these products.  MORE

RECALL: Nature's Recipe Oven Baked Biscuits With Real Chicken Due to Possible Salmonella

Nature’s Recipe brand is  recalling Nature’s Recipe® Oven Baked Biscuits with Real Chicken, manufactured in one of its U.S. production facilities.  the product has the potential to be contaminated with Salmonella.
Salmonella can affect animals eating the products and there is risk to humans from handling contaminated pet products.

UPDATE: Recall To Include ALL Products Manufactured in its Peanut Butter Plant over 90 New Products Added


FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE PEOPLE AND PETS –Sunland, Inc. announced a expansion of its ongoing recall of all products manufactured in its Peanut Butter Plant because the products have the potential to be contaminated with Salmonella. Specifically, the recall is being expanded to include all products manufactured in its Peanut Butter Plant after March 1, 2010.The scope of the initial recall covered one hundred one (101) products manufactured between May 1, 2012 and September 24, 2012. The expanded recall adds forty-nine (49) products that are currently within the manufacturer’s recommended shelf-life, that is, the “Best-If-Used-By” dates have not expired. 

The expanded recall also adds ninety (90) products consumers may still have in their homes which are older than the “Best-If-Used-By Date”. Distribution of many of the products being added to the recall was discontinued some time ago. The expanded recall covers all previously identified Peanut Butter, Almond Butter, Cashew Butter, and Tahini products as well as Roasted Blanched Peanut Products. RECALL: Nature's Deli Chicken Jerky Dog Treats Because of Possible Salmonella

NATURE'S DELI CHICKEN JERKY DOG TREATS product because it may be contaminated with Salmonella. RECALL: Dale and Thomas Popcorn Indiana-brand popcorn products

Recalling Dale and Thomas Popcorn Indiana-brand popcorn products possible contamination by Listeria monocytogenes The recalled products were distributed to various retailers, vendors, distribution centers, and consumers through the Internet on or after August 8th, 2012 with Best By dates of February 4th, 2013 through March 12th, 2013. All recalled products were packaged in red bags of various sizes. Consumers can identify if they have purchased an impacted product by looking at the Best By date located in the front, top right corner of the package and the Bag UPC (Code) located in the nutritional panel found on the back, bottom left corner of the package.
